From SA1 alone, it seems that the Station Square area really is a just a square nearby a station.

Joking aside point is if they reused the same locations with the same layouts it'd be boring, so constantly shifting geography is just something we have to accept as fans of an ever-changing platformer series like this. Generally Sonic's 'america' is referred to as the United Federation (I think?). Sonic Adventure 2 was set in and around San Francisco as far as I'm aware. Well, thats my resoning behind these thoughts, so with nothing left to say I guess I'll leave it to you to discuss. It's a center for trade and diplomacy, as well as a major superpower. So the logical choice would be to attack America.

It would make sense after all, the Black Arms would want to cause as much fear as they could with their attack, so as to make the other nations more likely to surender, and sense they only have one commet's worth of soldiers, they would probobly have to limit their attack to one country.

Secondary Thought-Does Shadow the Hedgehog take place in Sonic's America? Well, if Empire City is an analog to New York, what would be an analog to L.A.? The first idea I came up with would be that Westopolis would be L.A., but this would mean that Shadow(and perhaps even SA1 & 2)took place in America. Like, What is the real name of Sonic's America? Or, does that mean that the other country names are just the names of the cities, too? Main Thought-Is Empire City the name of the whole country or just the City you go to? The name itself points to the idea that it's the name of the city and not the whole country, but that raises a few questions. Well.The nameing might need some work, but basically I was playing Empire City in Unleashed when sudenly I began to think about a few things and thought it would be a good idea to discuss them here.
